We always love any reason to celebrate especially when your very own turns ONE! For all first time moms or any mom-to-be its the greatest accomplishment and milestone you will entail. You feel a weight lift off your shoulders and you can start to be slightly less paranoid. The first year there are so many thoughts and wonders if your doing something right, is someone going to judge you, trying to develop the best schedule that works for your baby while still trying to have a little time to keep your insanity. Regardless how many books, and blogs you read there is no one single right or wrong way, do it your way, do what you think is best and believe in yourself.

Our inspiration started with a plastic pink flamingo we bought for our office as just a prop, we knew we wanted pink and girly but not princess or fairly tail which lead us to dream up a floral and flamingo party.

Custom gorgeous invitations set the tone for our party leaving guests wondering what was in store for this dreamy ONE year old party. Paired with a sheen flat gold envelop added that special yet simple touch.

Desserts, Desserts and more Desserts any children's dream. We wanted to continue our theme of florals & flamingos with our DIY wreath and floral letter V acting as our statement backdrop piece, paired with our white ornate console table topped with delicious desserts.

A super cute mini's tablescape paired with white chaviari chairs, left our guests saying "awww" we all love anything in mini form and this table setting did just that. Solid pink plates acted as our charger plates paired with floral plates, flamingo straws and matching cups the children definitely felt special.

No party is a party without a pinata! A bright pink flamingo with floral crown was a hit.
